Why I Do This

I was the kid in the neighborhood who always talked to everyone. I would get my little brother to carry the family camcorder as I interviewed everyone on their couches. Those videotapes exist somewhere in a box. 


Later in life, I realized that this skill could be harnessed for community journalism, to lift the voiceless, hold the powerful accountable, and inform my community through a broadcasting network. A well-told story can lead to impactful storytelling and have a tremendous impact.
