This is the street sign for a liquor store in Huntsville, TX. I love it. There used to be a drive in movie theater on the land where the store is located. Today, only the sign remains. It’s original. The store even uses word play on the marquee.
Spent Saturday night in Austin for the Texas AP Broadcasters awards. KBTX brought 25+ awards, including Station of the Year. Shenanigans were had on 6th and beyond after the ceremony.
Just an update on how the travel year is going. I was in Waco this past weekend for work training. Not an exciting trip, but got to see more of our sister TV station, KWTX.
This was my view for 8 hours. We’re getting a new video editing system. Thankfully, the instructor was fun to listen to and knew what he was doing. The journey continues!
There are times I really enjoy working from my desk at home. This was one of them.
I love this dog.
Don’t get home nearly enough to spend time with him.
Cash is going on 8 (I think).
He’s an old man who still likes to run around. I haven’t been home 4 hours, and he’s already slobbered all over me, knocked me over and played in the water hose while I washed the patio down.
He obeys me when I tell him not to run off. We weren’t in the front yard 3 minutes before he decided he wanted to smell like grass.
Cash lives with the folks. Would have taken him with me when I moved to Bryan, but JoePa (roommate) got a pup named Farley.
Farley’s adorable, but there’s only room for one dog in my heart.
I’m thankful for a lot this Thanksgiving. My family and my friends, furry or not.
